Blue Dandelion with Red Guts
I loved these spiky and transparent spheres. They reminded me of dandelions after the fluff blew away. In reality, they are thistles called Echinops Bannaticus. Their common name is way better: Blue Glow (although they really should be called Dr. Seuss Flowers.)
I went a little overboard with these (click here if you want to see them all!)
Each image is printed on heavyweight (310 gsm) Hahnemühle German Etching paper that has a slightly rough texture, similar to cold press watercolor paper. The matte surface texture adds a subtle dimensional effect and depth to the images. Even though this is a photographic print, it has the feel of a more substantial piece of artwork.
Available sizes:
Small (12” x12”): $95.00
Medium (16” x 16”): $105.00
Large (20x20): $125.00
X-Large (24” x 24”): $145.00
X-X-Large (30” x 30”): $180.00
My forte is artwork, not framing :-). However, I can totally appreciate one-stop shopping and the convenience of ready-to-hang artwork. SO, I put together some framing options that I like and have used before. Check out this page for framing options.
